2016 CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Paso Robles Region
Our Cabernet Sauvignon comes from premium vineyard blocks along the coastal mountain range of Paso Robles, where a pronounced marine influence and diverse soils combine to yield a Cabernet Sauvignon that exhibits both richness and structure.
We aim to foster vivid natural fruit expression in our wines, with minimal intervention throughout the winemaking process. After fermentation and gentle pressing, we aged the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon in French and American oak barrels for enhanced texture and full maturation.
The Cabernet Sauvignon wine boasts nuanced aromas of dark fruits, toasty oak and pencil shavings. A plump texture delivers finely integrated flavors of black cherry, cassis, plum, mint and dark chocolate. Smooth, polished tannins bring graceful structure to the finish.

2016 RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Paso Robles Region
Our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve hails from the acclaimed winegrowing frontier of Santa Margarita Ranch, where diverse soils and marine airflow produce fruit with striking depth, elegance and structure. Only the finest lots of the vintage were aged in premium French oak barrels to produce this limited-edition wine.
This wine comes from two vineyard blocks—one with a mixture of shale and alluvium soils that produce dark fruit flavors, and another with deeper soils that yield more red fruit qualities. After fermentation and gentle pressing, this wine was aged in French oak barrels featuring 50 percent new oak. A small lot of Petit Verdot was included in the final blend for added intensity of color, flavor and structure.
The Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is loaded with bold aromas of black cherry, cassis, tobacco and toasty oak. Sleek, layered flavors of blackberry, currant and plum reveal notes of cocoa and vanilla spice. Fine tannins set the tone for a long, elegant finish.
The rich complexity of this wine is a perfect match for full-flavored fare such as filet mignon, rack of lamb and pasta with meat sauce.
Paso Robles Region
Paso Robles is recognized as one of California’s top Zinfandel regions, making it a perfect fit for our family of wines.
After fermentation and gentle pressing, our Zinfandel was aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels, featuring 25 percent new oak. A dash of Malbec was incorporated into the final blend for enhanced aromas and textural depth.
This Zinfandel offers bright aromas of boysenberry and raspberry with notes of oak and spice. A broad, juicy texture unfolds with flavors of blackberry, cherry and vanilla. Notes of spice linger on a long, balanced finish.
This wine is a perfect match for comfort foods such as wood-fired pizza, cheeseburgers and grilled chicken.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON & ZINFANDEL from Paso Robles AVA
Our Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel come from premium vineyard blocks along the Santa Lucia Mountains in Paso Robles. Here, a warm growing season is tempered by the daily marine influence of the nearby Pacific Ocean, resulting in an extended growing season. Such conditions are ideal for growing red wines that exhibit both ripeness and structure. Additionally, the vines here are planted to diverse soils that foster flavor intensity while bringing natural complexity to the final blends.
